RC Boss helmet padding?

Hello everyone,

I recently won my first helmet on eBay, a custom Republic Commando "Boss" helmet. It looks awesome judging by the pictures, and I can't wait to get it! However, the helmet has no padding, and I am wondering where I can buy or how I can make the padding for the helmet. Thanks!

Yes, foam is a great source for padding. Simply cut it to shape and attach to the helmet and you are good to go. I use it in my Mando and it's very comfortable.
Alternatively, inside my Captain Rex I use padding from DIY knee pads cut to size and glued in. Just about the only differences are appearance - knee padding looks tiedier, and it is more robust and solid. I like the knee padding in Rex as it gives a more proffesional finish.

Thanks guys! If I decide to use padding from DIY knee pads, do I have to get the whole knee pad or can I just buy the padding? Where can I buy the knee pads anyways?

THese are the one's I use:

Any decent DIY store should do similar or you can find them online. Just google Knee Pads

I was kind of wondering what I was going to use for my mandalorian gauntlets in terms of padding to get the firm snug fit I wanted. But you guys clearly summed it up for me of what padding/foam I can use to get the snug fit I want for my mando gaunts. Unless there is something else? Please speak up if there is.....
