Polish Clone Armor Project
Hello everyone,
we've started our attempt on clone armor sculpt some time ago and I guess it's time to show what we've got so far. The main aim is to make an accurate clone armor available locally which hopefully will get us more recruits in area. So far I'm the only clone in Poland.
I'll just note here, that I'm not making these personally. They are made by my friend and my role is rather giving advice, finding reference and suggesting changes to be made.
We have started with hand plated, being realtively small they seemed not that complicated...well at least until we actually tried to compare it with movie stills. After several changes we've come with the following look:

Next came the forearm, which will probably get some tweaks, but I'm pretty happy with how it looks:

Shoulder Bell- in progress.
All comments, advice and suggestions are welcome. However if you suggest any change in shape/contour- please add some photo/paint-shopped picture with line indicating what exacly you feel should change. Reference pictures to support are also welcome, trust me, we have looked at 100s of photos while making this :)
If you'd like to see all photos (123 and counting)- let me know and I'll give you a link to my Picassa. Pretty messy but all photos are there. If you'd like some specific photo to be made- let me know as well.
Cheers,
Kamil

Looks astonishing, especially shoulders! Great scratch build! You are the Men!
Re: Polish Clone Armor Project
Thank you guys! May I just point out that this is not me that is sculpting these, but my friend. I'm just a mere... accuracy consultant and screen caps search guy :)

Re: Polish Clone Armor Project
Hm, If your friend is sculpting those awesome parts you should buy him a keg of beer, he did great job. You said you are the only clone in Poland so are You a member of your Outpost? I'm not sure, because we met last year some guys from Poland at Con, but I can't recall if they were from 501st or Rebel legion.
Re: Polish Clone Armor Project
Hey,
definitely a good idea ;) gotta ask which beer he likes most I guess (or buy some from Czech Rep. ;) )
Yep, only approved clone in both Polish Garrison (501st) and Eagle Base (RL). I'm a member since September 2010 so if you were on Tricon in Cieszyn- I wasn't there. My first big troop was in Bydgoszcz, where some member of Lion's Outpost were present.
Cheers :)
