Plain white clone grunt photo session
We had a garrison photo shoot for the CCG members and I just today got to see the pictures. These are the first nice pictures that I have had of me in the armor. I hope to replace my 501st Legion photo with one from these

This was the first time that I have worn this set of armor. It has been sitting on a mannequin for two years.

Sweet, some good shots there, but how come you've not been out trooping in this? It seems a shame to let it sit there.

John,
Suit looks awesome! I have to say, seeing the Ep II and Ep III helmets side by side there just reinforces my love for the Ep III look. You just look so much meaner and more menacing in the last photo! Great job and it is always nice to see great photos!

It is not complete, neither cosmetically, nor structurally to withstand the riggers of a troop. I continue to work on it, and hopefully I can wear it to comicon.
Thank you folks who like the pix. One of these shots will be on a trading card, or at least replace my 501st photo, the one with me squinting into the setting San Diego sun!

I got your menacing right here, Art. When you got to whoop a few driods, you need the big gun!

IMO, the EP II just says "go ahead, make my day" you be the judge

Re: Plain white clone grunt photo session
Great pics! I have always thought your armor was just about as close to perfect as you could get. The pictures look great and I love the options you have on how to wear it.

Re: Plain white clone grunt photo session
Is the Clone Pilot a Scratch built helmet or is someone producing these now?
-
Re: Plain white clone grunt photo session
No, I don't know of anyone currently making them.

This version of the ep II pilot, is a one-off and is based on a clone face I did in 2003. I wore it for the photo shoot. I think it comes pretty close to the reference material.

Re: Plain white clone grunt photo session
i would have to ask, but i think skygunbro has started on the clonepilot helmet or has already sculpted it. but do not quote me on that.
