nice! i love the ESB suit. i had started to go that route with my first TK, but ended up selling it. the 2nd was going to be ESB, but i decided sort of spur of the moment to make it a sandtrooper instead.

Incidentally, if the TK is your "true love", I"d be more than happy to take your false love ESB Fett off your hands.

I decided to start on my helmet today. I trimmed the thighs last night but pics will come later.

For the inside of the helmet, I coated it with Plasti-Dip, what you coat tools with, it gave the inside a fantastic rubbery finish. After I let that dry overnight, I started trimming out the eyes, I made sure to use a brand new razor blade trimming them out, I believe I captured the ESB look pretty well.

I really need to do one of those some day...If I could ever decide that I'm satisfied with my Fett !!!!!

You won't believe how hard it was to get this suit done, especially when FettPride is taunting us with gauntlets, helmets, and armour, haha.

I'm pumped Andy!!! I cant wait to see it finished I know I keep saying it, but it is gonna rock!

Exactly what I am thinking of doing with both the TE2 I just bought and with my TM when I get it.

Great start, Andy! Are you going to use a welder shield or acetate for the lenses? I'm torn between accuracy (acetate) and more practical and durable (shield)...

I bought what ever Smitty sells, haha. I bought Shade 3 and Shade 5, that way I can have them velcroed in, and switch them out depending on whether the event is inside or outside.

All done trimming the teeth and ears. The ears lay perfectly flush, I will paint the frown, vocoder, and ears when I get home Plus I need to lay the decals!

so what you doing with that FX suit Andy..?

It will either be given to my friend Jen, or it will become the garrison's community suit.

Helmet is just about done! I just need to paint the frown, vocoder, ears, add pinstriping around the ears, install the lenses, and install the frown mesh. Then I'm all done with this majour piece of the puzzle which is the ESB Stormtrooper!!

Thats what I'll be painting mine, is that Plasti-Dip an American product? I really like the effect it has.

Plasti-dip, I'm not sure if it's a strictly American product. Head over to your equivalent of Home Depot or Lowes, and check in their spraypaint aisle. There should be some spray product used to give a rubber coating to tools.

The frown, ears, and vocoder have been painted. All that I need to do to the helmet now are to paint the stripes on the ears, install the lenses, and install the frown mesh. After this comes pics of the armour The armour is about 90% trimmed, I just need to first start learning to work with this modeling iron!!

It's perfect bud, ESB trooper is also my favourite. RotJ is 2nd.

Andy, you clearly are the worst TK I have ever seen... not to mention the ESB stormy is the lamest of them all... You should reconsider your hobbies, maybe stick to checkers... or coloring books or something... no room for this weak stuff.

Andy, haven't seen this til now.... suit came out amazing. You did a fantastic job putting it together...and it's insane how perfectly sized it is for you. The detail on those pulls is so crisp, this is what a stormtrooper should look like.

Very nice job. Once I finish my Fett I really want to upgrade my TK to AP also. That is really nice armor and it is ABS not Styrene so it will last.

Now upgrade your blaster too!

Wow, I just found this when I was researching TK costumes. I am definitely going with the AP instead of FX kit. Looks amazing! I think once my Fett is done I will be doing an ESB TK.

I do think the blaster could use alittle weathering, but other than that it looks amazing.

Your suit looks great but I have to ask you, why does it have kind of a dull, satin look?
I have and AP that is finished ESB as well but it is shiny ABS. I wonder if he changed materials?
