shouldn't be long bruv.....
Well get cracking then!! LOL!
Seriously, it's gonna look great with some Mojo magic painted onto it mate.
Got a little pic for ya! Here's the original faceplate, silicone mould and its mothermould! We should have our first faceplate cast soon(this weekend hopefully), leaving just the aerators and mouth grill strips to do!
Thanks to Mojo for getting this finished up lastnight!
Hope to have the face plate pulled this weekend? Gonna try and get a rough assembly up too.
Here's the dome all nice and white. Looking forward to seeing those Rex markings!!
Really digging this thread man I have to say excellent job you really look like you did your homework Ner'vod I wish I could make armor, but sadly I really dont know how hahah
i agree! This is amazing! and the snow rex episode is one of my favorites
Thanks guys. It's been a long road but one that I've enjoyed everyminute of so far!

NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE! Might need to put one of these together to go with my regular snowy
Thanks buddy. I appreciate that.
Nice update Skip...
I'll get to work on the trimming and the greebs as soon as I finish a commission I have to deal with.
It fits really well in the dome, mainly down to the decent master moulds provided! good work bro!
Great stuff! Thanks Gav!
Glad it's all fitting well, thanks for the compliment bro.
WOWZER! Faceplate looks gorgeous!
Here's a nice update for you guys!!
Gav just sent me some pics of both faceplate and dome together!! Sorry for the pics, the good light had gone by the time he'd gotten it trimmed and assembled for the pics. I lightened them up a touch though.
It's looking superb now!! Can't wait to see it with the greebs and visor installed!
Gav reports the face and dome fit together really well which makes assembly very simple. You can see the small dimples either side of the "mouth"? Those are locators so you know where to drill and fit your aerators! Then the three grill strips fit in the three slots after you fit your cowl!
Speaking of which, I've bought the material for the cowl and will be fitting it as soon as the face plate gets to me.
Hope you guys like it!
AWESOME!! This looks amazing! I want one now lol
You going to use Marine vinyl for the cowl? Or a more cloth-like fabric?
I'm gonna go for a faux leather vinyl. Marine vinyl is very pricey for what it is and faux leather will have very similar qualities.
Thanks mate! Glad you like!
Wow!! that looks great! Awesome Job Skip! Fantastic Mojo!!! Top notch! It's funny how first people started building models of handmade things in 3D, now we're hand-making models of 3D pieces!
I never thought of it like that. LOL!
Got some pics guys. I fitted a cowl to the first cast faceplate yesterday. A few tweaks to be done then it'll go back to Gav for paint and greebles.
Keep going skip. Can't wait to see it finished.
Thanks bro. I keep saying it but, WE'RE ALMOST THERE NOW!
