My first attempt at a mask - Sith Acolyte

Hey all!

So I've been working on a Sith Acolyte mask. It's inspired by a fella called MyNock(Think that's right!) who makes an awesome mask.

So I made a pep mask, put tons of resin, fiber glass and body filler on till I had a nice solid shell. I decided I wanted to try and vacuum form it as I really needed 2 masks, one for the base and one for the outer layer. So I made a vacuum former which works rather well and below is what I come up with. I know it's far from perfect but I'm pretty happy with it for a first attempt and hopefully I can make a better one next time. I've still got to give it a black wash yet to make the metal a little more used.

I think it looks awesome, the Sith acolyte costume is one of my future plans! :)
But I don't have any experience with creating body armor or the mask or working with resin! :(
