Mini Clone Troopers

I just wanted to share with you guys my latest 12" custom clone figure. This is my second EP2 clone pilot that I made as a grand prize for a Boy/Cub Scout event for the best Star Wars themed cake decoration. Coincidentally, the decoration that won the grand prize was the Sarlacc pit scene from ROTJ with a Boba Lego minifig in the middle of green icing made to look like the Sarlacc's tentacles.:lol

Since I started making custom 12" clone figures, I have been asked numerous times if I can make a 12" Republic Commando figure. So, I am happy to say that I am in progress of making sculpts for a 12" Republic Commando figure. A couple of months ago, I sculpted an RC helmet out of clay on an AOTC clone helmet base (fin filed off) but it didn't work out. So, yesterday afternoon, I started to sculpt a new 1/6 scale RC helmet from a solid piece of clay. I used scaled down pics of an RC in 1/6 scale and cut them out so I can used them as templates to get the proper shape and sizing for the clay model. I also used a 3.75" RC figure to refer to its dimensions.

Too bad the USPS decided to have a little fun at the expense of your custom 12" VODS! >: Instead of zip tying them in the box, I'll put them in sealed ziplock bag and use expanding foam with a plastic liner in the box so they can't be moved or damaged! I've tried emailing bro but no joy. I wanted to ask you a few things really but I'm curious, how did you tackle the boots for the Galactic Marine??

I've started a sculpt og my own for both 1/6 GM and Kashyyk Trooper but the boots are a problem. Just like the 1/1 stuff eh? LOL! How did you do them? I have a 1/6 Jango here, the electric one with light and sound? Anyway, I'm thinking of taking the feet off and moulding and casting them for the purpose of modding th casts to make good GM/KT boots? Is this what you did? Or is there another way?
