Mini Clone Trooper (Cody)

Active Hunter
I'm finishing up the small details of my son's Clone trooper suit. I'm extremely happy with how it looks...All of the hard work paid off when I seen him fully suited for his 1st fitting..Please provided any feedback that will help me improve the suit. I just need to do his shoes and ammo belt. And some weathering.

ARMOR: I bought the armor from a member here on TDH. I originally bought the clone armor EPS II, but my son seen Cody on the Clone forum and it was a done deal. I bought the Cody accessories and started the project. Great customer service and communication was great. I bought this back in April, so getting a hold of the seller was not a problem...I can just imagine the demand for these around this time so getting communication might be a bit slow since he is pushing out these great suits for kids....2 thumbs way up for Kids Clone Armor

Helmet: This was part of the Kid Armor and when I bought the Cody package it included the visor and antennas. I bought some end caps for kitchen faucet and cut them to size to fit the aerators. I made holes so it will be better for the hot air to get out and not fog up his visor. They give the helmet a more professional look. I did stickers instead of the decals. I used pin stripes for the lines on the visor.

Under Suit: I did not want to spend an arm and a leg for Under Armor. I searched for days to find a cheap alternative.

Blaster: Its a Hasbro build your own Clone blaster (rex)...This thing is so sweet. You attached different parts to make a a DC-15 clone blaster...each time you add a part it makes a cool sound and after you add the part it makes a different sound. I spent about an hour taping off all of the blue parts so I can paint them orange. it was very tittious, but the results were stellar. This touch really adds to the suit.

Looking good, if you want to add a little more details, Cody has an antenna behind his right ear, a radio on his left ear and a camera on the top front left part of the helmet, also he has a badge on his chest and another antenna in his left shoulder.

Very cool!!! What we do for our kids, I would have killed for a costume like that when I was little. All we had was stuff like this.

I had the exact same "Darth Vader" costume... A mask cut off the back of a Cornflakes box, a faded black T-shirt and a garbage bag sticky taped to my shoulder's for a cape...

If had that Cody costume when I was kid... well the neighbourhood kids would have nicknamed me 'Cody' because they would never have seen me wearing anything else. At least until I literally burst out of it around age 14...

Awesome work

Unfortunately my little cousins saw me looking at this post and now demanding a Cody and Clone trooper costume of their own. Thanks lol. It looks great and the envy of 6 year olds.
