Jedi Outcast (WIP/Question)

Been working on this one for a while and I wont bore you with its previous incarnations. Here it is so far. I apologize if the photos aren't that good. Wanted to get them done before I got caught up in other work.


The holster is temporary until I can make my own custom blasters and holsters to match. The belt is one I bought on ebay and then modified. Considering getting one made but not sure yet. Most of the rest is cobbled together from a Jedi robe I bought and various articles of clothing I thought would look right for it.

I plan on adding/making these:

1: Pair of black shin guards

2: At least one Mandalorian gauntlet (thinking the right one)

3: Small upper arm armor plates with modified symbols (see below)


Got some Polymer Clay coming in soon which I'm going to make the small armor plates from since I think it will be easiest to work and get the symbols in. Been looking around and was thinking of using Sintra for the shin guards and possibly making the gauntlet. Is it a good material to use for something like this? I'll be posting updates as it progresses.

Thanks for the input so far. Picked these up from the Phoenix Comicon and starting to draft out color schemes and parts:



Sorry the shots aren't that good. Need a new camera. I will be checking the forums for the best ways to modify/color these. Got an suggestions or tips please post.

How much did you pay for those at the Comicon?

I think I paid $60 for the pair.
