T-bone, which Revan mask are you gonna make? The one from Skip or did you find another pep file?
I got the one from Skip. Although, I'll build the dome for support and shape, then cut it off and opt for the strap system.

Cool, that's the one I comissioned (?SP) I needed the dome because of glasses, it'll be covered by the hood anyway.

It comes out nice and wide so I can fit my huge melon in there

Re: Imperial Guard Helmet Skupilkinson's Pepakura

The pepakura viewer software is free. All you have to do is get the pepakura files to print, cut out, and build then.

My jaw is hanging, to think you made that beautiful helmet out of paper!
    WOW!

Looks so glossy, is it regular spray paint?

Hey T, should I start with the dome or the bottom? I think I'll print it out tonight or tomorrow.

I built it too ya know. LOL! Though I never finished mine. I'd recommend starting from the dome and work your way down mate. Otherwise you'll probably have problems later.

Yep. Just plain old rattlecan paint and a couple coats of rattlecan clear.

Skupilkinson do you think you can post the 3d model of the helmet, i know that may defeat the purpose of you pulling the pep file off, but dude after seeing these pics i really want one.

That is correct. However, there was quite a while during the winter months that I didn't make any progress. If you were to add up all the actual work time I'd give it a couple of months.

You did an amazing job bro, so what are you working on now?

Re: Imperial Guard Helmet Skupilkinson's Pepakura

Thanks! What I'm working on now is kind of a secret project. If anyone from my home town or local area is reading this... Please, keep a lid on it. My cousin's son was recently asked to be the mascot for our local High School. However, one of the things that goes with it is they have to come up with some kind of out fit or costume. My cousin was telling my big sis about it. She didn't tell them, but knowing the kind of stuff I do she passed the info along to me and thought I might be able to help them figure out how to do it on a budget. They are called the Ironmen, so... guess what. I'm working on a pepakura based Iron Man. I haven't really told anyone except my sister and another friend... and you guys now. I thought I'd do some of the larger "identifiable" parts and give to my cousin as a donation to the school. I have the helmet almost ready for some glass. I'm not going for screen accuracy but more for wearability. I might try and post some pics later.
