Hasbro clone trooper helmet at Target

:eek:So I was walking thru Target this weekend and I happened across a new endcap in the toy section, really cool stars wars stuff. One of these items is the Hasbro clone trooper voice changer helmet. This is surprisingly well put together toy, and really looks close to the clone wars character, so I had to pick one up. And it was only $30!:wacko It also has voice command buttons with about a dozen clone trooper sayings. So go out and check it out, deffinately worth getting your hands on it. If anything, it's great for a good start on my sons' halloween costume, or one for me for that matter, it's big enough for adults.
Has anyone else seen this? Whatcha think?

I saw it. I personally played around with it for a bit. Really cool and appeared very wel made. The visor looked weird to me but I am sure people are moding then as we speak! They did some really nice stuff with the new toy line!

I was just at toys r us for the first time since they came out with this stuff, and I was really tempted to get the helmet. Looks like it can be made to look decent with a little bit of work, however, Im hoping to get one of the EFX's clone helmets :wiggle:

The new Millenium falcon is HUGE btw

The new helmet looks awesome!! very tempted. I saw the small clone blaster right next to it and I thought it would be a graet start to a kids halloween clone costume if only someone made the armor.

We had looked at the helmets on Friday night wondered how it might work in our clone helmets. So, here is my review:

So, I bought one to see what it was like. That way others did not need to buy one if they do not like the features. As of 11am Saturday morning, I had it taken apart.

It runs on 3 AA batteries and the main board is nice and small. The only problem that I found is that it does not change you voice, just adds static, and you must press a button for the amp to turn on. When you press the button, you get the ssshhh sound and then again when you release the button. It also adds a static sound when you talk as well.

Conclusion, it would work great with clone armor if, you want to run a wire from your bucket to your hand plate to press the button.

Yeah I saw that helmet yesterday when me and my nephew were scouring around the toy section. Seeing a bunch of new toy lines of the Clone Wars that come out. I personally think that the visor is a little to big but hey its a toy for the kids and possibly you adults. I did not get it as I did not have enough money. I was thinking of getting some clone toys but instead got a lightsaber for my costume. Next time when I go to the stor I am definetly going to be getting some of the new toy-lines.....

Besides anything else of what they got they have a clone trooper blaster that shoots darts, a stormtrooper blaster that makes sounds when fired, and general grievous blaster from episode III. In actual toys they have the characters from the movie in toy form....general kenobi, skywalker, rex, and a clone trooper. These are things that I am thinking of going to get when I go get my clone blaster.

The visor is HUGE, but it looks good. A person who is into making "a few special modifications" could pro'ly do wonders with it.

I went to Wham-Alart today and had one of these babies in the shopping cart. Mrs. Fett scolded me and made me put it back sob sob :cry.....

I looked at these Friday night as well and thought about the possibility of modding it. But... then I found about 8 cases of the new figure line unopened so I got them to crack those open for me and bought a 1st day release of all of them except the repack of the battle damaged Vader.
