Could of just waited for the WM version to come out. I realy like these for some reason, if I had kids, they'd deffintly all have them. I could call them by serial number too.

Oh yeah! I'm really impressed with the quality of this "toy" helmet. My son is always trying to get it out of my hands, guess I'll have to buy him one too...

Great, now I need to get this and add it to my collection

My jedi is finally ready and I have a strange urge to make a variation of it with clone armor

How well does the voice changer part of it work?

its okay, but you have to keep the button pressed to talk. unlike the optimus prime version where it stays on for about 2-3 minutes

Thats actually a good thing. Means you can short out the button and replace it with a switch to keep it on constantly.

    Nice clone helmet!

Total noob question, but how do you get the paint lines so perfect on the angle? I'm assuming painters tape is used, but how do you get the angle so precise? Please excuse my ignorance on this matter, but I am really impressed with how good this looks. Good job!

I guess angle isn't really what I mean. I'm just impressed by how well you got the tape lined up and how even it is on both sides. I had a hard enough time getting the kill stripes lined up!

How hard would it be to add some extra plastic to the visor area to make it less wide? Then you could bondo over the seam, sand the whole thing, primer it and spray it white again, maybe a simi-gloss?

I went to an event yesterday and the other guy (after some malfunctions with the regular helmet) resorted to using one of these on his ARC trooper. A very nice helemt. I'm going to get one once money allows.

the light, unfortunately does not light up, but the helmet is amazingly comfortable.

    Got myself one

No time to mod but I will for sure - really nice lid even standard but Im waiting to see how you folks go with your mods... hopefully by the time Im ready there will be templates up somewhere!

On another note - and this may be somewhat cheeky - the red Target/Walmart helmet... is that an online offer only? Any chance a US TDH member could pick me one up if I paypaled the cash first?

    Thanks folks,
    Dave

I used .20 gauge styrene w/ a 2-part Loctite plastic bonder and let it cure for 24 hours. It holds like a champ and looks like it was made that way.

It's great if you don't have the skill or patience for a complete bondo overhaul, like me.

I've got a thread called Hasbro Bucket Camo Mod where I describe it in detail. Check it out.
