Dc-15 rifles

Death222

New Hunter
I am building 2 dc-15 blaster rifles. one for myself just to have and the other to go with the clone armor im building for my friend. pics will come later today. If the blasters turn out great and aren't to much trouble to build I may start making these regularly and selling them on ebay. Ill keep every1 posted. Just plz be patient as this is my first thread and I am new to this site. Thanks, Nick

so for some odd reason I could not upload the pic so I have attached links so that you can see the pics. the first link is the beginnings of the barrels. the second link is my father and I cutting the stocks. link 3 is what one of the stocks looked like after being cut out. link 4 is what both of the stocks look like after being cut, filed, and sanded. Today we will be rounding off the edges of the stock and trying to figure out how to make the body next.

Ok our router got screwed up and we couldnt round off the edges and stuff. Its a fixable and easily fixable problem but just not today. I am having serious issues trying to figure out how im going to do the grip and trigger. :( Can anyone help me out????

sorry for not posting in a while. The armor is about 75% built, and the blasters are coming nicely. Ive built the body, added lots of detail, added side slung boxes, my dad built the underslung rail.

pardon my language in the video, but we put the led in the blaster and it looks awesome. also a quick look at what we've done on the armor.
The blasters, along with the armor MUST be done by Seattle comic con (march 1st through 3rd)so the blasters will probably be finished being built this week and painted next week.
Thanks, for your support and Ill continue to keep you guys updated!

Finaly someone that puts his attention on the phase 1 armor and DC15A rifle!I've been looking for so long to find good reference picturs to help me with my blaster build!Keep up the good work!!!

So even though the armor was not 100% completed, and the blaster wasn't done...I painted the blaster and took them to comic con. The clone armor was a ROYAL pain in the ***. The biceps kept commin out of the shoulder and the shoulder bells continually fell off and we had to ask people to pick them up for us. The blaster looked okay. the led was pretty cool. the paint on the blaster was rubbing off on the armor all weekend and left huge black spots on the armor because we had painted it the morning of comic con. Ive attached a link with a picture of us with the 501st Garrison Titan. My friend is the White clone grunt. I am the stormtrooper to the right of vader with the green lenses. so as you can see the blaster light effect looked cool, and you can also see that we eventually just gave up and stuck the shoulders in a satchel we were carrying. you can also see that the aerators are not in the helmet. once again not enough time. but I think under the circumstances and time pressure it turned out ok. I have some work to do on it now that comic con is over and hope to be done with it before summer so that I can get working on my next project.
