Pretty cool brother.![]()
Thats an awesome Maul, the makeup is dead on!
That is sweet!!!Really cool costume bro, and your wife did a bang up job on that makeup.
INCREDIBLE Maul .... very nice.
Makeup is spot on and it all comes together real good.
Well done !!![]()
very awesome! great job on the makeup. hope she got an A+ lol
really really great job with the makeup, especially the bald cap!
Wow, that is amazing!
Could you ask your wife what brand bald cap she used? I am looking at a project and find that this is one of the most difficult things to do right. The D Maul in our Garrison just shaves his head, and I am not that committed![]()
That is swwweeeeet!!
Maul is my fav character!!!!!!!!!
That is soooo dead on!
Hey BubbaFett, c'mon, shave it brother! Your hair will grow back.
Doug, your wife got talent, did an exceptional make-up job. Can't see any of the cap. It takes me 3 hours to put on my Maul make-up. All you need to be complete are the Maul contacts, teeth make up, and earring.
Very very well done!
that make up is amazing, looks just like ray parks
Nice-lookin' Sith Lord...after Boba, he's my next favorite SW character...
Rob
So how many hours did it take to do this? Very curious
Wow. Thanks for sharing! I am already bald as can be. So I do have a head start myself! LOL!
Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
It took approx 3 hours because it was the first time doing it, we reckon it could be done in 2 hours at a push. The advantage of using a bald cap is that it could potentially be used again ready painted, if it is removed and stored properly. Didn't have tooth enamel or the proper Maul contacts at the time either, would make a huge difference.
Yet still, looked really amazing. Turned out very well, man.
You said it was part of her make-up artistry class? What sort of make up is she looking into, if I can ask? Something like for strictly movies, or just cosmetic for models, weddings, etcetera.
The course covered everything from bridal/beauty to f/x (prosthetics, cuts/bruises). I really had to convince her to do this, she thought it was too difficult but it turned out to be her best work. She went into the course with a view to working in weddings/fashion but she really enjoyed the f/x more.
That's another one of her creations in my avatar (General Thade - Planet of the Apes).
I was going to ask about that, as well. She did an amazing job on the Thade. Looks just like a promo for the movie!
wow! looks totally killer!
