Cusstom Mando

This is going to be the first costume I have ever constructed, and I have a couple of questions. I have all of the armor plates, but I was wondering what kind of clothes I would wear underneath them, and how I am supposed to attach them. i was also wondering what kind of paint I should use on the armor (It's made of sintra plastic.)

You're going to need some sort of flight suit and vest. Arkady is a great option for that. There are also other seamstress making soft parts such as LadySew4Us and Loanstar. For attaching the armor you should do research on all the different methods of attachment. Some people use snaps, magnets, Velcro or bolts/eyelets.

I used sticky backed velcro on my armor pieces and stuck them to a vest and scrubs pants. They stayed on the vest, but something about the material of the scrubs kept the velcro from sticking. This is something you should be aware of, you make need to sew the velcro on, or use some other method.
