Concept for my own build

Hi,it been a long time since i last posted here and was wondering how i would come about making my custom clone trooper, a start from a few months not making anything.I've made an artwork with my choosen concept here(dont worry,its mine,im not a theif) which isn't very good and was hoping for some tips,if any..Cheers.

The best way to get a good clone is buying the suit, but if you are going custom try working working the pieces out with paper and pictures. After you are happy with the shape fiberglass it to seal the shape. Bondo and smooth it and it will turn out great. I love the artwork by the way, much more artistic than I am. (even though I can only view it in tiny on my PC)

Heres another concept i made of the same design.Strife,thanks for the advice,however,which would be a wiser choice, scratch built or custom made.
