Clone wars mask!!

So i happened across a clearence rack at walmart and scored a clone trooper mask with electronic sounds for a whopping 5 dollars!!!



So i began thinking of something cool to do with it when the idea hit me, paint it like rex!

first thing that had to go was the ridicolous visor, so the dissasembley began.


Templates in place


and first layer of filler applied. thats the progress as of now will post updates soon.

Is that bondo on the helmet?

yes that is bondo, once the first layer dries i will sand and apply more, the templates are cardstock so i didnt want to coat all of it in bondo on the first go round

I have 2 layers of filler applied and sanded.next up, One small layer to smooth every thing up, final sanding and then paint
