Re: Clone Trooper Armor Help
sintra isn't necessarily thin... clone and TK armor is usually made of the material that is pulled on a vac table (i don't have a vac table or TK armor so if i'm wrong help me out here guys) which is usually a thinner material than the sintra that i used to make my fett armor.
to answer your question, fiberglassing usually does the trick and i'm pretty positive it'll stick to sintra or the thin stuff you're talking about (the ruffkin gauntlets i have are the same material i believe so i know what youre talking about)
best of luck to ya. post some pics too :)
Re: Clone Trooper Armor Help
assembling a clone suit is... fun... yeah, fun. depending on the kit it's either fun like getting stitches or fun like being on fire.
:)
seriously though, it's a fair piece of work with most kits out there. if you're looking to use the suit with the 501st, try clonetroopers.net... the folks there will probably be able to identify the kit and offer specific advice on it.
Re: Clone Trooper Armor Help
Sorry guys, still not pics (GF out of town with camera), but I should have some up tomorrow. But, where can I get liquid fiberglass and some white paint that will fit this armor? I know its a large request without pics or anything, but any help is appreciated.
