this costume is ...... well there are no words to describe ........., you are a very talented man, be great to see a Snoova/Chewie spinoff from this one
 
This looks absolutely fantastic! I am VERY impressed by how you did the head piece! The detail in the entire project is just phenomenal. Congrats on creating such an amazing costume!
 
I actually got to see this suit in person while it was here in Tampa... It is AMAZING! Great work.

I was sad to see it go, but feel privilaged to see a suit that was so dead on. I saw some at CV that were good but I really got spoiled by seeing this one first.
 
This is amazing ! I have a friend who did some weaving for a bigfoot costume and he, as well as everyone else that has commented on weaving has hated it. kudos to you for sticking to it and such an amazing job
 
Man this is an amazing build. While I have never done any weaving in particular, I have done some really slow, time-consuming processes like it, and I must say This is amazing! not to mention the sculpt, etc.!
 
This is a really great costume. It shows that Time, hard work and love for the character makes a great costume. Thanks for sharing.

If I hadn't seen the progress pics I'd swear you'd gotten it straight from the set. The colors in the fur look spot on.

I'm wondering, what did you do for the hands/gloves?
Seeing this really makes me feel like giving it a try myself, though I probably won't have the time for it until next summer.

Might I inquire about an estimate of how many packs of kanekalon you've had to use?
And would you happen to know a good online supplier, since I've never seen it for sale in packs anywhere, just as accessory braids and such.

Once again, brilliant work!
 
I can't believe how well Chewie came out. the best thing about the whole build for me is the fact that the genius who built it lives only a few miles from me. I never knew there were so many talented people in Ireland
 
^^^Agreed! Great Chewie. Really appeals to my impulsive side to go out and raid some wig stores, ha! :D

I'm actually wondering how you walk in this suit? Do you use your ankle as Chewie's knee?
