Anakin's pod racer helmet

A friend of mine was recently given a pod racer helmet and he asked me if I knew anything about it. To me it appears to be a version probably sold originally at Target. It has a Don Post 1999 on it, but it looks to be mass produced and on the less expensive side. It does not say Deluxe and it is not numbered which is why I think it is more mass produced. I did a bit of research and didn't find too much on it. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated. I told him it probably sold for $40-50 at Target in 1999, but I don't know much about that helmet. It is actually pretty good quality, the goggles move nicely, it fits good, and the collar/neck piece looks good. Anyone know what this would be worth today? Here are a few pics:

It is, but it's one of the better DP helmet styles they ever offered in terms of quality IMO.
