    THD newcomer, signing on.

Hey fellow dent heads, I've been obsessed with this forum for a few weeks now so I thought i should finally introduce myself. I am a graphic design student from the uk, which basically means I'm pretty creative but have no money to do the things I want! familiar story I'm sure.

I have always been a costume geek and recently finished a suit of samurai armor out of sintra, I thought it was about time I combined the techniques I learned with another interest of mine . . . Star Wars!
I decide a few weeks ago I was going to start constructing a boba fett costume for halloween, and then I came across TDH!
I have literally spent the last 2 weeks browsing the forums and I have to say some of the stuff I have seen on here is totally awesome.

Like many of you I would consider myself somewhat of a perfectionist and I really wanted to get the costume as accurate as I could for my budget (not a lot). Since halloween is 4 months away I figured I would build a custom mando first, just to get used to the way the armor fits together / works, without having to adhere to the very unbendable rules of a boba suit. I also thought this would be a perfect way to practice weathering and battle damage techniques.

So intro over, this looks like a great place and I hope to learn a lot.

    Hey buddy, and welcome.

You can find all the info you need here. You could always have a look at kotemandos who are uk based.

Looking forward to seeing your suit take shape and what you are building yourself too.

sounds like the same thing i am doing as well...i think if you do a custom mando first it will also make it TONS easier when you go to create the fett armor and such...

welcome to the boards, its a pleasure meeting another new fett-natic!!! by the way, your mando sniper looks great
