Not 1 set of armor . . . but 4

New Hunter
Hi everyone
This is my first time posting and my first time making Mandalorian armor. And I am making not 1 set, but 4. My 17 year old son and 3 best pals convinced me I could do it. I've made giant mitten costumes (5 ft tall pair of mittens gets lots of candy at Hallowe'en), 6'6" tall robot with lights and sound effects and Batmankoff last year for FanExpo here in Toronto. Rainy day yesterday so I grabbed old cereal boxes and pizza boxes and threw together a helmet - just to see how it went. It's actually pretty cool for a prototype. Any suggestions about snags and bumps I might run into beginning this project.
Advice and encouragement appreciated.

Bondo and sandpaper will become your best friends.

My glue guns are my best friends (and yes, I said guns). But I am sure they won't mind hanging out with new tools. I have a new dremel I can't wait to play with!!!

thanks for the encouragement. Here's pic of prototype I worked on yesterday. I know it's rough and ugly - but I wanted to take a shot and see if I was hopeless. Really excited now to bust out the good tools and get to work helmet prootype2.jpghelmet prototype 1.jpg

Looks great so far. Welcome!

Dont suppose you could drop a link to your pepakura pattern for this? I wouldn't mind having a go!
