Newbie from Dallas

Just thought I would do the obligatory first post.

I'm a long time Star Wars fan and have recently decided to build some armor for this Halloween. My goal is to create a custom set of Mandolorian armor (using Sintra initially). As my skills and experience grow, my goal is to create a movie accurate set of Jango and Boba armor.

I live in the DFW area so I am hoping to hook up with some fellow fans and hopefully hit some shows together in our gear.

I have a lot of carpentry skills that I think will come in handy and I am looking forward to posting my WIP pics!

Welcome........I am just a bit north of Dallas. There are several people in the area that can, and would be willing to help out. I am working on a Jango, about to finish. There are several guys in the area with custom mandos. They get together on a fairly regular basis to have armor parties. I am seldom able to go because of work, but I can help get you in touch with them.
