Hello all , I wanted to finally register after checking the site out for some time. My name is Lee , I live currently in Alabama. I have collected Star Wars since getting my Early Bird set back in 1977ish. Back then and up until I had kids , I bought anything and everything SW. three storage buildings later I have slowed quite a bit.
My background has always been in art. I double majored in Graphic Design and ceramics in college and for several years after college did the " do artwork ,sell, do contests, sell at galleries " for several years. Mostly sculptural and paintings .
I'm getting back into making props and other items now. I'm not big into buying all the replica weapons or things I see from many of the companies, I want to make my own if possible.
I'm wading into the kiddie pool with collecting parts for the easy Gonk Droid, scrubber droid, thermal Det, and training ball now.
I also have been collecting autographs for 25 years and still get things signed through the mail often. If you need any addresses let me know. I also collect animation cels, toys from about 1975 to 1985 and tons of other junk my wife sometimes hates.
But my long time passion has been star wars. I want to create fun things and learn from all the great people i have seen on here.
