Howdie all,

I am a new member looking to build his first Boba Fett ROTJ costume. I already have several pieces from some awesome guys here on the forum...but could use some direction on where to get good replicas made. I also have a few questions regarding 501st standards.

Pieces I have (or will soon):
Flight suit (MOW)
flak jacket (MOW)
Balaclava (MOW)
Guantlets complete (bobamaker)
Weapon - ebayed
Armor - RKD V2 with fett electronics
Helmet - Animefan with fettinator range finder kit
jetpack - Fett seven (with dome light and pulse effect)
Jetpack harness - Kcr7pr
cape - Woodman
braids (horse hair) - Woodman
girth belt (woodman) - Woodman
assorted suit tools - bobamaker
gloves - saint nasty
Boots - (MOW)

Parts needed:
ammo belt

I am still trying to get a belt from Delta13mike. Should be able to get it soonish.

Question 1)

Is there anything I am missing that anyone can see?

Thanks in advance

All parts should be weathered.
The flak jacket may pass, but definitely inaccurate as far as fastening method is concerned.
There are a few threads where a few have dyed their suits, but not sure how specific they are. Last one I saw the color looked really good, but can't remember the user name.
Cape/cloak(woodman), boots(MOW), toe spikes(machinecraft or darkside), new flak jacket(Arkady)

Thanks, You said the flak jacket was inaccurate as far as the fastening method. What do you mean by that? I forgot to add that I have the neck seal as well.

As you stated, per CRL the vest should fasten down the back.
Don't know if it will be seen when fully costumed or not, but still surprised MOW went this direction with it. Guess it was more for the one size fits most bit.
And wouldn't worry about the balaclava as far as weathering as it won't be visible...

Welcome and i second syllander`s advice.
For your hose, check back with Bobamaker as his Gauntlets usually come with hose as set. If he missed yours, he will be happy to send you another.
For Flak you should post some photos of you wearing it from the side, if the seams are too visible you may have some diffiuclties with CRL

Thanks for the tip about the hose. I actually haven't actually received my guantlets yet from bobamaker he's still busy in the UK painting them for me like the awesome guy he is.

I am attaching some pictures MOW has for the flak jacket as they are more accurate than what I could show at this time. Some of the pictures will have armor on and others armor off...but I can attest to the pictures accuracy. Let me know what you guys think.

Any pointers on who to go for helmets? I reached out to for jetpack, helmet, belts, and other parts on the list. I PM'd Fett Seven about a jetpack, his previous work looks quite impressive.

Thanks in advance guys!

Welcome aboard, crumdum.

Thanks for the message...did you find your guantlets Sleepalot?

Nope still nothing crum.

For helmets. I'd message Animefan. Fett Seven is good for a jetpack too.

Ok a little update...I got a jetpack on order and helmet on order now. Any advice on belts, jetpack harness, gloves?

Thanks for the shout out Sean . I make the braids, utility pouches, cape, spats and girth belt. I'll pm you with a price list.

Thx
Woody

Sent you a PM...

Where's a good person to get the jetpack harness/belt/divers buckle for jetpack?

Where to get the utility tools?

Anything else I am missing?

I'd go with Saint nasty or Major for the gloves.
You can make 3 of the 4 tools yourself with the Paterson chemical stirrer and Paterson squeegee, except the "jetpack adjustment rod"......Mojo-Fett used to make these, not so sure anymore. Should be able to find the Paterson parts an Amazon.
Full Metal Fett for buckle and clips.
Kcr7pr for an accurate metal harness. Toolguy301 for a more wallet friendly 3D printed one.
Strapworks.com for any needed 1.5 and 2" polypropylene webbing and other side click buckles.

I picked up a Kcr7pr harness as per your suggestion. I tried PMing and even emailing Woody but got no response...does anyone know whats up with him?

Also I need boots of course but I am waiting on MOW to begin his next run since I need size 10 shoes and he's sold out.

Additionally I am getting a second set of shoulders because I don't like the paint job on my current shoulders. Any recommendations on peeps to get RoTJ shoulders painted?

Woodman can be hard to get ahold of. He's a solid guy. But can be slow at getting back to you. If you've already contacted him I'd wait him out. Best capes and braids you'll find.

Ok update, I got the cape, girth belt, and braids off of Woodman, but I still need an ammo belt and other stuff.

Where should I get an RoTJ ammo belt from?
