Just wanted to say hello to all the members here Been a big fan of The Dented Helmet in a galaxy far far away...don't know why i never joined, but have been here a many of time. I'm into costume making Jack Sparrow, AvP ( Celtic ) just to name a couple. Love Halloween and everything associated to it I have been out of the Star Wars realm for awhile until I saw the new Star Wars trailer!! The kid in me will never die. Hope to talk with many of you and get to know you and FINALLY put my hunter together.

Thank you. I'm looking forward to get as much info as possible to put the most detailed BF together. Already contacted Asok for a lid, haven't heard back just yet.

I personally went Animefan...but that of course is your call.

I was currently lookignat an GMH version since from what i understand its as close to the movie version. Other members mentioned her she had castings of an GMH. How close is Animefan? and the quality?

The GMH is a cast from some cast of a prepro 2 lid. The damage is based on that version, and due to several generations of castings it's kinda small. If you're short it may be a good option, but it's not a very screen accurate lid to ESB or ROTJ. The Animefan lid is more accurate and is a nice kit.

I have been studying some of the history behind the GMH helmet but did not realize that it had so many generation castings behind. I am looking to do an ESB helmet for now. Anybody have any suggestions on who sells a quality fiberglass casting of a ESB helmet? Thanks for all the help and interesting info guys.

Recently picked up an Animefan cold cast helmet. He's makes awesome helmets and is a great guy too. Welcome to TDH!!

Thanks for the welcome I've been talking with Animafan about getting one if his lids. Just saving up money so I can start my build Woohoo
