New guy from SoCal

Hello all-
My name is Brian, I've been on here about a week and I am blown away by the quality of work you guys are putting forth. I am a long time fan of Boba Fett, and finding the Target helmet has cemented the idea that i want to build a suit. I'm planning on starting with the helmet, and from there have no idea where to go. Also don't know if i want to go ESB or ROTJ... Decisions, decisions... I'm trying to educate myself on all the differences between.

The other project that has my jaw on the floor is HIC. Amazing, I want to build one.

Any guidance is always appreciated. I think most of my stuff is going to be scratch-built and pieced together from army surplus, but i'm always down to pay for good quality work.

Welcome aboard! Most people seem to lean ESB, but being RotJ is easier (better reference photos) and seemingly more rare. There is also the canon choice of going RotJ SE (basically RotJ costume with ESB helmet) or any one of the Pre-production versions, including the Supertrooper (white). I would check out the gallery for whichever you like best.

There's a wealth of information here so take your time to research before spending a whole bunch of money. I really do love seeing scratch builds of stuff so would be awesome to see another build with scratch built stuff if you decide to go down that route
