New guy here!

Just signed up, so I can dive into the Boba world! I am a member at other boards -- RPF, Prop Den, etc. and various R2 boards (R2 id: not2hep). I have been working on gathering accurate pieces for ANH Vader, TK and TD Stormtroopers, and my son and I are building a 1:1 all aluminum R2 D2. I have been branching out a bit more (just research for now) to include C3PO and now Boba Fett.
At this stage of the game I plan on (eventually) getting the most accurate Boba helmet available (not full suit -- yet anyway).
It looks like I have lots of reading to do!
Can anyone point me to a few threads discussing the most accurate helmet available?

Fettpride makes the most accurate ESB helmet there is.

You can also get a bobamaker and use that for ROTJ.

Wow that Artoo unit looks amazing, how long did that take you?

We are taking our sweet time on it. I has taken two years to gather the parts to this point (he picked the project when he was 4 and a half). The mock-up phase started this summer (finally). I try to do enough prep work so that my son and I can do a good half hour of work on it each time. The paint phase will happen this spring. The electronics will start next winter (with lots of planning and research going on before hand). It's a good project, he has learned a lot! I hope his little brother picks a little bit less complicated project when it's his turn!

welcome! that's a great looking droid so far. i've always liked how they look unpainted. i think it would be neat to have one that's just metal and lights.

Awesome looking R2 Doug. Once my Fett is complete (soon) I was thinking of either building an R2 or a greivous. I must say it does look good unpainted!
