Greetings to one and all. I have had the pleasure of surfing TDH for quite a while now and I am so impressed in the positivity of this site.
It has been a great while since I posted on any site but after reserching the costumes here, I thought it would be worth contributing to such great community.
Little bit about me.
Was born log ago and have one of the great distinction of beaing about the last person to see ANH in the summer of '77. (I was a teenager then.)
SO AMAZED and Enthralled by this vision that it completely changed my life forever.
ESB: on the line on the first day and was offered $50 for my place in the line. Guess what. I declined. Thats how ardent a fan I've been.
ROTJ: Attended the premeire. Awesome experience and was able to meet Mark Hamill. What a thrill that was.
Fast forward to present day.
USMC Veteran.
Wife and 2 kids.
Yep they came to the FORCE with me. HAHAHA
Anyways, why am I here besides fascinating reading. Well a couple of Halloweens as Darth Vader (I'm tall) and had not played any other character. I have the DP Rebel pilot hat but never did costume it. So my youngest and I where thinking that we would do something really cool this Halloween or maybe attend a convention (he's 14) in something cool. OK Titanfall!!! he looks at me says cool but not that cool. How about a storm trooper? I say woah. That is really not easy pal and requires a lot of work. Plus I wanted to do a character that would exume coolness. How about a Bounty Hunter? Hmmm. Let me see what I can dig up.
Well after 2 months of research, buyng tools, learning how to cut, paint, bleed and everything else. We are pretty much 25% done. Yes that is the attention to detail curse that I posses.
Love TDH and I hope I can contribute my two cents when I can Brothers!!!!
