Howdy Ya'll from Texas

Hi there! My name is Brian, but I go by VariablePenguin or VP most everywhere on the interwebs.

I've been an avid fan of Star Wars since I was a small child and have always had a special interest in Boba Fett. Always thought he go knocked out like a punk in Jedi.

But I digress. I make custom action figures (Boba Fett has and still will be my favorite) and occasionally make costumes for myself and my lady for parties and Halloween. Boba Fett has been a character I've always wanted to make and I'm hoping to get started soon.

So, glad to be here. I've been lurking for a while now, but now that I want to start this thing up, I'm ready to make myself known.

YOU MADE THAT BOBA FIGURE?!?!?!?!?!?! WAS IT BY HAND?!

I started with a base figure of the Marvel character Bullseye and sculpted all the of the fabric and armor details. Blaster, Jetpack and helmet were also all sculpted. The Jetpack connects to the back with magnets embedded below the sculpting. And I used metal brads as details for his knee darts and boot spikes.

Thanks man.
Custom action figures are the biggest hobby I do. Mr Fett was one of my earliest figures, but since I love the character so much, I made him the best I could.
What kind of stuff have you tried sculpting?

Thanks for the welcome.

Here are a few thumbnails of some of my figures. You can see full photo shoots and bigger pictures on my website. VariablePenguin.com
