Howdy from Houston

New Hunter
Hello everyone

Four years ago I blew $800 on the "Supreme Edition" costume thinking it was "official". I was bitterly disappointed after opening the box (the nicest part of the package), and thought there had to be a better way to do this. Pain, suffering and frustration ensued, and last month I finished the first run of my costume.

I submitted to the 501st and am now a fresh inductee to the Star Garrison. Just came back from Celebration VII, where I debuted my ROTJ Fett costume and participated in my first troop. Awesome!!

Looking forward to interacting on TDH and learning from other members.

Best regards
Boris (BH 33033)

Welcome to TDH and congratulations on the 501st approval, Boris! I believe that I saw you're ROTJ walking around the con(I try to be able to recognize Fetts that I do and don't know). The costume looked good.
What part of Houston are you from? One of my brothers lives in Kingwood.

Thanks again guys, its great to be here. Learning a lot already just by reading through all the super posts! Made me appreciate quickly what I can seriously improve on in my suit ... I'm already busy working on it!

Scott, I thought I Pm'd you, but cant recall. Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot. I'm in West University, central Houston.

Clockworkronin, unfortunately I don't have the Supreme Edition any more. I parsed pieces off to my son -- he likes the helmet -- a few pieces deteriorated over the years and the rest I just threw away.... once I had a decent custom costume, it was painful to look at the Supreme Edition, and it took too much room.

Best Regards,
Boris
