Hi Guys, I've been a member for a while now but this is the first time I've posted anything. Having been a huge Star Wars fan since I saw my first movie in the late 70's, I decided it was time I do something I've always wanted, My first Boba Fett. I saved up for ages and did a lot of research on the net and ended up getting most of my gear from BobaMaker. I painted it and tried to get it to look just right but, then I decided, maybe I could be a little different. And because I wanted my armour to last so that maybe I could pass it on to my son (even if he is only two..) I decided to put a few coats of Twaron and 6K Carbon around the armour, making it slightly stronger. I'll try to post some pics in the future. I haven't done the helmet yet and it's making me a bit nervous cos I reallllly don't want to mess it up. So at the moment lets just say the breast and ab plates are quite strong, and it looks good too, so I'm not sure if I should paint again or not.Maybe I'll let that go for a vote later on. And the only other problem with living here in Townsville is that it's very hot and humid most of the year round. But that's another story. I look forward to having some pics for you all soon, and I've already seen some amazing work from you guys, and girls. And don't forget, with out us Geeks, Nerds and Fans, life would be sooo boring! Thanks for reading. Best wishes, Ian.

Hey Ian!

Your idea to strengthen your armor sounds interesting and I look forward to seeing how it comes out. I'm currently awaiting most of my gear from BobaMaker as well...how did you like the pieces? Anything I should know about lol?

Also, I like your idea of eventually passing down your armor to our son. Just make sure not to get beheaded by a Jedi in front of him...that can really traumatize some people. :p

I was really impressed by the quality of Bobamakers armour. But next time I might not go with the flight suit, it's well made but the new one he has is much better.
Also be care full of import tax, I ended up with a $400 bill. Bobamaker was going to send the helmet and jetpack separate but in the end they all turned up together.
Overall, I'm very happy with his items.
And you're right, getting my head chopped off could be a problem.
I also got my ammo belt and jetpack harness through the cargo hold, top quality...
Ian
