My name is Christina and I just joined this board. I am currently a costume designer major at Santa Fe College/University of Florida and my goal is to start my own costuming business for Star Wars fans. I want to help out people who need something completely made all the way to just helping people with tips and eventually general patterns for those that sew. So, I need to start learning all about the construction of multiple outfits, especially the hard bits that aren't always covered in costume design. (The debate is still on if it's part of costume design or part of the prop department. I've had professors get pretty heated about this.) I hope to have Studio1138 up and running by 2011. I always welcome suggestions to what other costumers are looking for, and this will allow me modify my business to best help others. Thanks for your time.
