    Hello from Uxbridge

    Hello.

I just thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Jon and I'm based over in Uxbridge on the outermost rim of London. I've been having a read of this site and I'm frankly amazed at the level of detail that I've found.
I'm a member of a group that troops in and around London. At the moment, I have a replica Dalek that I use but it takes up the entire car and I can't take my son with me to events so I decided I need a costume. Since the Dalek is Doctor Who based, I wanted something from the Star Wars universe so I could broaden my range. Several of my fellow members have made custom Mandos and I decided I'd really like to do one too - I'd actually like to do an ESB Boba Fett but a member of the group already has one and I don't want to tread on any toes. They directed me to this site and I can see why.
I'm looking forward to the challenges of getting a quality costume together and hopefully making some new friends too.

Yay! Replies. Thanks for the welcome.
I did consider an ROTJ Fett but I want to do the ESB version first. I remember when it came out thinking that no character could be as cool as Vader then along came Boba Fett to prove me wrong. I've started having a good read of the various WIP threads as well as gathering together some reference material. I've even just purchased a Blu-Ray player so I can get the trilogy in HD
I'm really looking forward to this build - lots of new challenges and stuff to learn.
