Hello from Chicagoland

HerrFett

New Hunter
Hello all,

Just wanted to say hello. Just registered yesterday but have lurked the site on and off for a while. Interested in starting an ESB Boba Fett helmet. Was really inspired by Lewis-White FX youtube tutorial series on painting a helmet. Currently looking at airbrushes so I can get started on my winter project. Any help and direction would be much appreciated. I already sent a message to ASOK about getting a helmet since I've heard he's the guy to go to on that.

Well that's it for now! Just wanted to say a little about myself and what I'm interested in doing. Hope to learn a lot about the process and continue further in the hobby.

Cheers,

Jason

Thanks for the welcome guys! There is so much info on the site so I'm not even sure where to begin. I contacted ASOK about getting a helmet. So I got that ball rolling. I'm trying to put together a equipment list and figure out how to setup my work space. I was thinking of painting in my garage, but over the winter might be too cold. Not sure how that would affect the paint drying process. I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks toolguy!

I was checking out some of your threads. I'd definitely like to keep in touch since I'm new to this process. Any suggestions or direction would be much appreciated. To start I just want to do a helmet with hopes and future plans to do the entire suit.

Thanks for looking, I have taken a scratch build approach. Let me know if you have any questions always willing to help.
