Hi everyone,
I'm bigluelok im a newish fan. I am in the process of researching a costume for SDCC 2014 and have decided that I want to take on as my first ever costume. where should i start i have already downloaded a few templates. I have been reading that most people use cardboard.
is cardboard the best thing to use?


what other helpful tips and tricks for newbs do you guys have?
 
for my first set of armor I did the trash can armor...worked out pretty good I think...ill try to find a picture of it later

This hobby can be fun at all levels of accuracy. If you plan on scratch building everything yourself that is super cool and very rewarding. have you thought about what Pre-Pro look you are going for? 1, 2 or 3?

I haven't given it much thought honestly, I have no idea of the differences I am a new fan. I'll have to see the differences maybe I'll do all 3 eventually. That way I don't have to choose
