Hello to all from Texas

New Hunter
Hello fellow Cosplayers! I have been kicking around the idea of converting my 96 Don Post Fett helmet (Still in the box).

If its worth selling then I would rather sell it and just make a helmet.

Comments, suggestions? Thanks to all in advance.

I converted my DP 95 helmet and I'm happy with the results. It can be done. It's a little small compared to the better helmets available around here. If you're a particularly big guy, maybe sell it and build one yourself so it doesn't look out of proportion. If it's just for display, it would be fine. Here's my thread to give you an idea of what can go into making it decent http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f23/...ainting-something-wasnt-wall-pic-heavy-49182/
It all depends on what you want to accomplish with it.

Welcome to the dented helmet. It depends on if you want to wear the helmet or put it on display like Bounty1138 said. My first helmet was a scratch build and I learned a heck of a lot during the construction and painting process. If you're looking for experience in prop making I'd say sell it and build a new one with the proceeds.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the info. I will most likely sell one and convert the other for display. Bounty 1138 that is a great post. You did a nice job on that bucket!
