New Hunter
Greetings. My name is Steve. I've been doing costuming for a while now. I've been primarily active over on the Brotherhood of the Bat and RPF for while now. I've been looking at trooping with my local 501st for a while but wanted to wait until I could focus on putting together a suit I'd be happy with. Heard of TDH through members from here over on the BOTB and RPF so thought I would check it out. My main costume projects have been Batman suits and I've been doing that for a while so it'll be nice to take a break from that for a bit. I've always been a fan for Boba Fett ever since I saw Empire as a kid. I would say he's my favorite character followed by 4LOM. I've always liked the beat up, lived in look of his armor and I think he's one of the best designs to come out of Star Wars in general. My goal of coming on here is to take advantage of the information on here and to use the site as more of a resource and for feedback as I start putting together my own suit. Was looking more to make my own stuff as opposed to trying to buy or trade for stuff. Hopefully I can contribute here as well. It'll probably be a while before I start posting on the site. Want to spend a bit of time checking out the TOS for the site checking out the info on here so I can come up with a plan of attack and then I'll go from there.

Other than costuming I read a lot. I write. Collect comics, play guitar, paint and collect miniatures, collect Batman, watch a lot of movies and work on model kits like Mobile Suit and Five Star Stories, Macross, Patlabor, Space Battleship Yamato, resin kits and so on. All that while working full time and getting ready to go back to school. Somehow I'll be trying to figure out how to fit in some charity work as well. Well, that's all I can think of at the moment. See you around the boards.

Cheers
Steve

Welcome to TDH. I trooped as Jango in the Riverfest Parade and at Imagination Place not long ago. I think I may be going back there the first weekend in september. You should check it out.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yeah, made it out to the exhibit last month. I was hoping for more stuff from the original trilogy. It was pretty cool seeing the filming models for the Falcon and some of the costumes and props. Was hoping they'd have more Fett stuff out there besides the blaster. I'm surprised they didn't put up Luke's pilot outfit since they had the X-Wing filming model. If you do go make sure you hit up Mcdonald's before you go. They have a 2.00 off coupon for the exhibit.
