    Dec 16, 2009, 3:28 PM - Greetings from Ooooklahoma #1

    Hello, all!
I've been...watching you all for quite some time.
Er, its not nearly as bad as it sounds, I swear. I discovered this site when I was literally kidnapped by my friends at four in the morning and dragged to Plano, Texas for the Fan Days convention, and popped on and watched silently for some months.
My deepest, strongest desire is to be Mando'ad, but, unfortunately, as I am just a young college student working at a grocery store, my funds aren't quite allowing for that, though I'm hoping to slowly start collecting bits and pieces for my armor. I'm sure I'll be able to learn quite a bit from all of you, and maybe someday I can be a Mando =)
In the meantime, though, I'm rummaging around and doing much simpler things. My best friend and I are hoping to make it to Celebration this year, and, if I can get my butt in gear, we're hoping to go as an Ahsoka/Shaak Ti duo. Of course, my biggest hurt in these plans are the monotrails and lekku, and as my only skills are sewing, and her painting, this will prove to be quite a challenge.
I'm really looking forward to interacting with you all in the following time.

Or better yet, welcome Dudette perhaps? lol

You just happen to have some Mando Family around ya, I'm in OKC, so if you ever need any help with sculpting, casting, appliances for Ashoka or Shaak Ti... Feel free to give a shout, I got a full setup in my garage where I do all my work, and I drive to Tulsa now and then for concerts and such. So welcome to TDH and enjoy...and yes...leave your wallet/purse at the door.

Wow, there's so many of you in OKC. That's kinda a surprise
Thanks for the warm welcomes, though.

Well, with Christmas being in the way of my usual week, and then work picking up a little bit afterwards, somewhere in the two to three week period should be my next trip out there.
