Greetings from the hinterlands of Florida!
I'm just sayin' hello, letting you cool cats know I'm here and looking to learn as much as I can about this particular aspect of Star Wars costuming. I've been a long time fan of Star Wars, always thought Boba Fett was one of the cooler characters from the Star Wars saga and always thought the Mandelorian armor was rather unique and interesting despite what venom a few sour souls have spit my way. I've always loved the look of this particular armor/costume and it's time I had some fun with like minded fans!
The other reason I've decided to join is that, well...it's very boring in these parts, my life needs some excitement and I'm looking to do something a bit different. I'm a little short to be a Stormtrooper and the 501st is kinda strict on what is and is not acceptable in terms of what Star Wars costues member can do, so here I be. I have some ideas on what my particular costume would be like, nothing radical and certainly identifiable as a Mandelorian but I am curious to know if it has to be regulated to just the Boba Fett/Jango Fett costumes or can other variations on the Mandelorian armor be accepted? I'm a new, please be easy on me!! :)

Hello and Welcome .. If you are looking to do a custom mando there is a great Star Wars costume club The Mandalorian Mercs. For the 501st the costume would have to be from the movies or clone wars series. Regardless if you go custom or cannon, this place has a ton of useful info.
