So this is my first attempt at making a Mandalorian. I love them. Ever since the first time I saw Boba Fett. Which was when I was about seven and the star wars special edition trilogy came out. It makes me weep that I never actually got to see the original before all the new stuff was added in. But still it was deliciously epic, and I must have watched the original trilogy like a million times. But enough fanboy spewing. I always enjoy costume making and this is my first attempt making an armored costume. So let's see what happens.

This is a picture of a buddy of mine modeling the armor thus far just so I can get an idea of what it looks like. Shout out to redkraytdragon for his amazing work. I love his alpha armor.

Anywho, I work full time nights, so updates are probably going to be slow. But have no fear I promise I will finish this project.....eventually!

You have one cool friend there! If any of my friends told me to lay down while they place plastic things on me, I would be out of there so fast!

Sorry for the lack of updates. We went into busy season at work and I've been working tons of overtime lately. Upwards of 60 hours a week, and then I moved into a new apartment less than a month ago, so it's been kind of hectic. But it's going to start slowing down now, so I should be able to get back to work on this as soon as possible. I've already started test painting a piece. I'm going to throw on another coat and see if I like it before moving on.

Personally I'd say those plates look small....there's a huge gap between the chest - belly and neck - chest...

I agree but that's my friend test fitting to give me an idea. He also outweighs me but at L
least a good fifty pounds or more. So it'll be a tighter fit on me.
