    WIP: Coder's Custom Helmet (and Armor)

    So i already posted these pics on MMCC. This is my first attempt at modifying a helmet. The helmet in question is a Rubies 2pc Jango that i bought a while back. What i am going for is a Slicer. Being a programmer IRL, i thought that that would fit me best. All of the raised edges are bondo ( i like to make things difficult ) So here are the pics of what i got done last night. It kinda looks like ****, what with all the lines and sanded paint. I look forward to any and all feed back. Thanks.

    Managed to get done with PT a little early and took to the Dremel. Cut out part of the new visor slot. when the visor goes in, it will have two layers. The raised area still needs a little TLC but i figured i would go ahead and show it anyway. going to make more raised areas tonight on the back of the dome.

    I feel like i am on a roll! Knocking out this thing left and right. So i finished trimming the visor area. when i insert the visor, i will insert a normal T-visor and then cut a piece to put in the cut out area to give it a raised area. i think it will look pretty freaking sweet. I have to go buy more bondo tonight so i can start on the rest of the dome. hope fully i will have more pics up tonight.

    So i am updating my post...FINALLY. I have been working on my helmet like crazy so here a a few update pics...


    Painted and old T-Visor installed *note* There will be a reflective visor piece covering the cut out visor area.

    Here is a pic of it with what i have completed of my armor


    Please not that this is not the final paint job. i still have weathering to do on everything. its gonna be beat to hades.

    Excelent work! I posted in your thread over on the Mercs but I'll say it again here: I think you should get this cast! Really cool looking bucket

    Sorry I haven't posted in a while but this project is on hold for a little bit. Finally got my PCS orders. so i will be moving. Thanks guys for all the reviews. I'll be back in a few months...
