I'm looking for a low cost set of armor that I can customize and if I like what I do with that I will invest into a nicer set. Do you guys think that this would be a good buy or not. Thanks for your help.

You can do the same thing with some plastic and the WOF templates. But that's my opinion.
Agreed, sintra is easy to work with yourself. And if you don't think you can do it, I have better prices than that guy, and give much better curvature to the armour. PM me.
And for future reference, you're not really supposed to post live auction links that aren't yours.
Fine, if your on a budget but I wouldn't buy anything off of Ebay period! too many shady deals going on there.
How much is a trash can on ebay? Make your own, more satisfaction.
BTW don't think you are to post ebay listings unless they are yours....just a heads up bro.
Thanks for the help. And I'll remember not to post ebay links in the future. I read that in the code of conduct, but it must have slipped my mind thanks
Have you guys heard of a seller on ebay called cyanide72? If so is he reliable? His stuff definately fits my budget. Hope I'm not breaking any rules here.
Thanks
I removed your link and replaced it with one of the photo's from the auction. You can ask the question like you did about a person, like cyanide72. If you drop that name in the search, you should get about 3 hits. Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please feel free to as any of the Admins. We are here to help.
If you want to start cheap, you might want to look at this http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f25/all-boba-fett-armor-stencils-templates-23196/
You will most likely get something better than you would get off ebay. You will also be able to say you made it.
Thanks for that. And again, I'm sorry about the whole posting thing.
No worries. We all started somewhere.
That armor in the first picture looks suspiciously like the first set I got while waiting for a much better one to be made.
In my opinion, don't waste the money. Any of the other gentlemen that have posted have the right advice for you.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for giving me all the advice. I am new here so I am still getting into the swing of things. If anyone else has any advice please post it. Thank you so much.
come on, i know more of u can help.
I have a set of the Cyanide armor from about 2 years ago.
It's very nice armor with a very good shape. However, my main concern was that it was too big. I have a small frame so the armor was sticking off my sides like I was wearing a trash can.
I eventually traced the outlines of the armor, made the lines smaller, and cut out new pieces from PVC.
Only the chest was too big, though. The shoulder bells, back plate, and neck are still in use.
I'm 6-3 do you think that it will fit me?
i got a full armor peice suit from that ebay user, but 3 years later i made my own out of trashcans, i was going for jodo's blue/yellow colors but now i'm considering changing it up a bit
How was the quality of the armor?
It's very good quality. It's the same material you can buy at Home Depot in PVC pipes.
My armor could take an airsoft bullet at point-blank without any scratching...
