http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...%3DI%26otn%3D2
That's old news Jango ;), Pacx purchased that armor and is customizing it to a super cool Medic Mando.
ya that was a while back :)
The first page is important to ANY thread.
i read the first page and, well, never mind :D
The Stava skull would be an excellent thing to have as a type of Sketch on something like the chest or knee
Cool, I have a chinese touch screen phone I'm gonna use, and maybe a barrel from some toy guns etc.
The phone will be fully functional, just gotta get a bluetooth setup in the bucket along with my voice amp and fan.
Pac'ika, the suffix 'ika is a way of saying little. It's applied to the first half of a name to indicate affection for that person.
Adonian is Ad'ika. My name is Shuk'Om, so if someone wanted to speak about me fondly, it'd be Shuk'ika, or Shu'ika. It's basically the short affectionate form of any name.
Ah, I see.
Shuk'ika. :D
I began work on my Medipacky thing today (because i was incredibly bored) and came up with..
a block of wood, carved into an oblong shape.
Levi'ika: stava skull, on the knee plate. I need something to work from!
****REVISED BIOGRAPHY OF JE'KARTA PRUDII****
'Ah.. I was wondering when you'd show up.'
Prudii to Vizla, who had come to retrieve Prudii's Death Watch 'Subjects'
Doctor Prudii, also known as Logamed, was a Mandalorian biologist, surgeon, physician and scientist during the time of the Mandalorian Civil War. He was trained by Doctor Demagol, and held him in great respect and awe. He was hated among the Mandalorian army, but even some of the toughest soldiers were scared of him.
'I want each and every one of you to provide me with a dead body today... I need to keep my practice up.'
Prudii to his officers, asking for subjects.
Prudii had a very retiring personality. He liked to be left alone, and his only interest was blood. He would spent hours in his operating theatre dissecting things.
'Remember my name... you'll be screaming it later.'
Prudii drilling his contingent of troops during the battle of Galidraan
I'll add more to it later. What do you guys think?
I've also revised the armour. AGAIN. I know, I know, it's annoying, but I'm not asking for another sketch, Kal and Alpha have too much to work on without getting in the way.
All the blood on me is gonna centre around the helmet and upper chest area. You'll never guess why.
I like your new avatar there Pacx.
Hehe danke.
Ach, merde.
I'm having qualms about the outfit now...
Hey bro, you're on the list for me anyways so i'll get to it eventually ;) goin on a little vacay this weekend. Ill sketch in my spare time when im in the hotel... we'll see how much i get done :s
We going to start seeing some construction pictures Pac'ika?
Adonian is just dying to use his EL wire whip on someone...
Not as yet, Adonian can start booting up his whip. I'm still sort of redesigning a little. I think black and gold would be a nice colour scheme... and blood on the helmet instead of everywhere.
REVISED JE'KARTA PRUDII
Je'Karta Prudii was a Mandalorian surgeon and consultant battlefield medic during the Mandalorian Civil War. He was an aide-de-camp of Jaster Mereel and as such was highly influential throughout the Mandalorian clans. Prudii helped spearhead the Supercommando Codex with Mereel, the code which would start the war.
Though not a true warrior, Prudii was known to engage in battle whilst on the field using his Ubersaw, a weapon/tool of his own design. He loved blood, and never bothered wearing any protection during surgery, instead opting for operating in his armour. He was very violent and bloodthirsty, once stating that 'the healing leaves little time for the hurting'.
Early Life
Prudii was an adept medic from a young age - having been trained by Demagol himself - he served in the 9th Supercommando regiment as Chief Medic, and became interested in medicine after the death of his squads leader. Having been used to cutting objects out of people, he never actually knew the power medicine would give him. Known for his painful techniques and disregard of anaesthetics, many Mandalorians were slightly wary of getting hit by a stray bullet, and if they were, some would even think twice about calling for a medic.
Rise to Power
During Mereels ascension to the mantle of Mandalore, Prudii lead a small regiment of Medics, named the 101st Medical Corps. His expertise in anatomy and medical prowess made him the perfect candidate for leading it. He recruited several subordinate officers, and then began taking low-key medics from the main army into proper medical training. Eventually, he had a 100-strong army of expert medics, each spread around the separate regiments.
After the declaration of war, Prudii became a full-time surgeon after the injuries sustained during the fighting became too much for even his seasoned medics to conquer. It was then he began 'examining' Death Watch prisoners, subjecting them to chemical torture. Mereel turned a blind eye to this, but many Mandalorians began to think of him as another Demagol.
The Rakghoul Plauge
During the war, a minor outbreak of Rakghoul Syndrome began taking the ranks out of battle. Prudii and his medics worked tirelessly to develop something to halt the infections, whilst Prudii operated on the infected parts of the body.
'To stop the spread of infection, Prudii amputated the limb. With a sharpened syringe. Very like him.'
-Anonymous 101st Medic
Death and Legacy
Prudii was killed by the Jedi at the battle of Galidraan whilst healing a wounded soldier. His legacy was the 101st Medical Corps, which was then Zuka, Subordinate of Prudii. A statute of Prudii was put on Mandalore, his home planet, with an inscription 'Not even your fine medics could help you this time'.
He passed his armour onto his Half-Brother, Dha A'den, who kept it in his trunk as a memory of Prudii.
--------------------------------------------
There. Final draft.
You know Zuka is the youngest medic Serving around your death at the Age of 13 and is 15 now and the Best Medic in the 101st, I also was the one who slaughtered the same jedi who killed You. im gonna work my story into a meeting with a very young boba fett and the Helping him in his search for Mace windu. It'll start with your death which i will put in gruesome detail
I like it :D so did you end up finishing Kals? and when does our squad show up? if it does :lol
Your squad ends up finding my body. Eventually.
Zuka, I like the idea vod! Get working!
sweet idea :D
I can't DO THIS any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The armour split when i tried to draw in the battle damage and boom. I'm left with a crack down my girth and cod plates.
Pacx it'll work it in the long run also just spot putty it nobody will notice
Oh yeah in my Story, your squad is with me and Je'karta when he Fell you also witnessed my slaughtering of the jedi, also it can't be that gruesome because the jedi used a lightsaber and not a sword
I'll go back to Imperial soft stuff. That's my speciality.
... I am not amused I want some enthusiasm
Enthusiasms gone I'm afraid.
pacx, like adonian said put some pics up. Then we can give offer some advice
There's no point vode, its irreparable. I'll see if i can get something to stick the pieces together but Bondo isn't around in the UK so I dunno a substitute.
you dont get any sort of bondo? I'd look around for something that people use as a car dent filler then if i were you. They should have something
another thing you could do (depending on the damage) Heat up the crack and hold the melt the pieces back together... Im no pro at this that just something ive done with my armor
I have also melted plastic together for small repairs on stuff So grab a propane torch Hold plastic together
Melt
Fuse
Secure
Cool
Polish
Paint
Done
Propane torches are a little OTT, dontcha think?
Anyway, I'm gonna put the costume on hold for now. Maybe buy another chest, cod and neck plate.
It would, worked for anything ive done. Pacx why not just shoot up a few pics? It doesnt take long and then we can see where you're at
What, a propane torch? Really? I don't have one and don't have the credits to acquire one.
I also think it would be easier ( don't get me wrong, im not going the quick and easy route) financially and practically to just get some more armour, ans whilst I'm at it I can get some arm and leg pieces too. Don't worry guys, I'm not out of it yet.
Prudii Familt Motto: Semper Paeratus 'Never Give Up'
Any car body filler is bondo over here in the UK, P34 I think is the closest As the reaction agent is pink.
Simple point is if it can repair a car dent, be sanded and you can buy it from Halfords, it's what the US call Bondo.
I'd like to see your plates, with the damage and we'll see what we can do to sort you out Pacx. So send photos of your current progress.
There Pacx, Saz has just saved your armor :lol
The only thing I'm really concerned about is the aesthetics of the armour: How's it gonna look if there's a huge tear down the centre bits? It's like sticking two pieces of ripped paper together with glue.
Makes it looked battle damaged bro! You are fighting jedi
I DIED fighting Jedi.
you'd still have battle damage vod, pics?
Ok so lucky me, i found some sticky stuff in the Garage so I'l use that for now. I'll pick up some 'bondo' tomorrow and i'll begin work.
Does anyone ever see a mandalorian they like the look of and change their look to reflect that? I believe that's happened with my helmet.
Like I said, you have a problem with your armour, let us all take a look at it and we'll sort you out.
Thanks saz but I THINK I can take it from here. If I require more assistance I'll let you guys know.
Vode An.
So no pictures then?
And you don't want our help?
OTT means over the top, and PACX, we're only trying to help, you've seen my trach can armor, it looks good, and when I have the jump suit, I will make it look screen ready, let us help you make yours, remember my first bucket, the black one? I dropped it while making it, it cracked about 30-40% of the area, but I repaired it, and everyone likes it, here, lemme show ya'
The cracks are the vertical and horizontal lines ont he left of the t visor, and the 'y' shaped on the right side of the t visor.
I fixed mine and it looks cool, so show us your boo boo and we can help. ;)
Ahhhhh Over the top, FIRE IS STILL FIRE!
Anyways When you repair it and someone notices the crack say your penis Cracked it because its so large XD
zuka what is it w/ you and the language?
Yeah Zuka I believe the appropriate term is ghetse... at least that's the mando'a word for it and a little less obvious (and offensive).
and you know how large it is?!?!:suprise:wacko:lol JK
sorry couldn't resist.
Edit:
Also @Zuka, why double post? Just edit your post if there is no reply, post padding is uncool, and since noone replied, you dont need to add another post cause noone will miss what your gonna say, cause your gonna post it before anyone see's or misses it. ;)
Edit again:
see how easily that works ;) its the little button right down there.-------------V
I'mAddicted too posting my signature Twice
I Served in the Final two battles at Age twelve, and my character goes into the Suspended animation to prevent me from Aging up untill the clone wars so technically my character is in his 30's but he is in his teens its gonna have an explained reason but storyline wise it is so he can fight Along side boba fett during the clone wars for a short amount of time, Before Returning to Mandalore Too Foresee the construction of Je'Karta's Statue
EDIT
Also i like too use language that is not censored, because well its not censored
Not to be nitpicky, but "getse" is the term for nuts, both edible and anatomical.
"Bev'ika" is closer to what yall are looking for. It literally means "little spear". Corr introduced it to Omega Squad as a term of abuse in Order 66 (page 57).
And you can't give up, Pac'ika. Who's gonna be the figurehead for the rest of us medics if you quit? Keep at it, vod.
Jango Fett was. Most of the Cuval'Dar were, Jaster Mereel SHOULD have been if it wasn't for Korda VI.
Oh and zuka... Chakaar is the actual Mando'a 'Bastard' word.
That and I picked up some car body filled and the armour looks slightly better now. I'll paint over it at some point.
Which make of car body filler did you get?
There's one make that needs a little extra care.
I got fastglas resin.
You've worried me now :P
Pacx if it didn't combust randomly then your good
If it combusted randomly i'd be worried
i had paper combust randomly upon contacting my skin, i guess that means im Burning hot... XD
So would we all, Pac'ika. No Mando-Flambe for you
*chuckles* I've combusted randomly. Of course, I was covered in pyrophoric catalyst dust, so it ignited on contact with the air......that was a fun day.....
**** shuk'ika Any Terrible burns after that
Nah. My Tyvek and Nomex took the brunt of the damage. Got first degree burns on my wrists, where my sleeves and gloves met, and would have lost some hair if I hadn't had on my life support helmet. Thankfully my top deck supervisor had the fire extenguisher handy.
Only burns I got were the laughing insults I recieved as the guys on my crew recounted my leaping, flailing, dance to get the flaming clothes off.
And sort of back on the original topic of character bios and such, I was reading through the last thing posted, and noticed that your Mando was trained by Demagol, but then served under Jaster Mereel, and died at Galidraan.
Seems a bit off to me. Demagol served under Mandalore the Ultimate, back in the Mandalorian Wars (3976 BBY-3960 BBY). Mereel didn't become Mandalore until 60 BBY. If Demagol trained Prudii, and if Prudii was still active under Mereel, and if my math's right, that'd make him around 3900 years old. Was that really in the plan? If so, I wanna be that species!
Prudii' probably Entered Cyrostasis
or Demagol (real name Antos Wyrick, who is a zeltron and really old)
There are Three customs who fought in the final battle Mine(age 12)
Je'karta(age unknown) and Galaak(Age Unknown to me)
I was in Cryostasis For 20 years At 42 BBY, which is after the end of the mando civil war and awoke at 22 BBY, at the beginning of clone wars putting my actual age at 36 but biological Age At 15(there is going to be a storyline reason Probably involving Galaak or Fett
oic... sounds like a lot of us spent some time in cryo...lmao. Yeah I'm not sure exactly what lev'ika's custom's complete timeline is, but I know he somehow showed back up (along with adonian, Jayson and A'den) to help me and my squad out after the Vong Wars... according to Pacx's history of the Mando'ade anyhow
he could've Got cryofrozen on the same date as me
Which i Got Cryofrozen By Yoda after i Injured 3 jedi and then Got De frozen by boba fett who missed Galaak, i'll check wiff levi if he can be frozen and then Saved by me
I'm confused now...
Yay! Me too.
Never mind. All we do is wait until someone gets shot.
Score. I like your problem solving skills, sir.
Ain't nothin' that can't be solved with a syringed filled with Ovoo VI.
And a healthy dose of "Walk it off."
Take two aspirin and call me in the morning
somebody is gonna get shot, sometime in the story
Oh shi-
