Vhonte Tervho build

Hey thanks for all the comments! It was a lot of dang work, but came out pretty well. It seemed everything took longer than I thought it would.. I could do more weathering on the cape, the belt and hosters are a little weathered but hard to see in those pis, but could use a little more. But since I am bringing this to C4, its as good as it gets for now!

I do have to ask, I have had a few female members ask me about making some and, I would like to know about the chest pieces you made. Was that hand formed, or casted off someone? Or, another thing I was actually thinking about was those female half manequins

WOW! The entire suit completely surpassed my expectations. I'd troop next to that suit any day!
Very kewel! Great job!(y)

Rotton,

That came out fantastic!!!

You took a comic book picture and created a whole suit from it, which is no easy task...trust me...I know first hand.

Fantastic work!!

Can`t wait to see pics from your first troop in it.

Hey thanks! We were all over the place at C4, somehow managed to miss most of the mando gatherings, exept that one big pic, and can barely be seen! Well thats allright, would like to have made over to the TDH table a little more to chat armor and stuff. But great fun there! It was weird, some people liked it (and a few even recognized it!) that were not costumers/501st, and a lot of costumers were like uh.. ya.. a girl Fett.. or Boobie Fett! HAHAHA! Well I think it has a real Mando look and not so much a "custom" look, kept with the pics, the Mando basics, and even the handmade gauntlets were pic inspired and Fett inspired. Tom Hodges the Artist was totally diggin on it, but If I drew a pic and some fool made a costume from it? I would do the same! Also it seemed many people did not like the Femme Fett idea, or even custom for that matter. But the general people seemed to like all the various Fetts and Mando's. Oh and the chest armor was molded off a person, but the pull could be cut and modified probably to fit other sizes. The mold had some backing issues, wasn't solid, so came out wider than needed, but actually works out fine, didn't change the dimensions of the boob/cup shape. Obviously in the pic the plates are not all lined up.

Hey, don't let what others think detract from the awesomeness of your armor. I have to say this is one of the best sets I've ever seen, and the fact it's a fem mando makes it better!

The main goal when you look at your armor should be: "Does this make me happy?"

Now I gotta get my girl into a set of mando somehow =D She keeps resisting but I know one day she's gonna break.

Your always late to the party Jim.

It was awesome seeing the whole outfit in person at C4. I never had a chance to say it in person but you did a magnificent job with all the visual material that you had available.

Rotton--

First, great work of course! I saw some random pics of C4 and believe I saw a few of you. I recognized the armor from the Insider images too! Your hard work definitely shows!

You are probably THE person I need to talk to about a Femme Mando...I have read from several sites that Sintra is the stuff to use, but you also use bondo from your descriptions. I have never used either medium and have never tried an armor costume, but Sintra seems like it would be fairly easy to use. I'm bigger than a "B" too :p , so the chest plate is something I really had no idea how to start on.

(To some other comments in this thread--if only I were lucky enough to have "Star Wars spouse" LOL)

Thanks for posting your progress pics. It's great to see a start-to-finish

I just had a quick question....You dont wanna marry me do ya?

Thats not the first proposal on this forum... LOL!!

Rotton, you did a fantastic job on your outfit in a short amount of time.

Can`t wait to see more pics of it from more outings...
