Other Bounty Hunter ConvergenceProps: SW 1313 Boba Fett

Ok so a little more progress. I got the Shoulder armor done. Still working out their placement. They got the same treatment as the helmet visor area.Ocean Blue with a over spray of Tamiya Smoke.

Also started work on the collar section of the armor. This is actually my 2nd attempt as the first time the "lines" of the plating were going inwards twards the center of the chest instead of straight down/outwards. They'll get coated in leather and sewn together with pipping around the collar and edges.

I'm going be going to Otakon in a little over a month, so the plan is to debut the 1st version of this suit there. Though I kinda doubt I'll have either the jetpack or gauntlets ready by then.

What about a really weathered Jango pack? Which would explain why it gets repainted green...? Just an idea.

also, I just wondered if you'd noticed the leather strap that connects the belly armor to his "shoulder pads" that his shoulder armor is attached to? Looking excellent so far, I love this concept and am deeply disappointed that the game was cancelled!

Yup, I saw that part. In some photos it just looks like a plain old strap, but I'm thinking of making it have features of the center diamond on his normal armor.
As for the jetpack I'm going to be painting it in ROTJ/Jango colors even though I've never been a fan of this paintjob. I really wanted to paint it in a muted blue with a big Lvl 1313 painted on one of the tanks, but I think the ROTJ colors will make it more recognizable as Boba. Really the only reason I want the pack is to hide a 70 oz camelbak inside the darn thing so I can have some cool water while wearing the suit as it gets HOT.

So leather work was this weekends big project. I have the ammo belt done too, but have yet to take photos of it.
I originally wanted the buckles that would go to the jetpack to just "hang" there while sporting the rifle holster, but the weight of the damn blaster kept making the it sit wrong and prone to tipping/slipping out of the holster. So I riveted on two straps with with the two male half buckles (one not visible in the photo) attaching to the jetpack harness buckles, now the rifle sits nice and upright/snug with the stock sitting just behind the left shoulder. I still have to make a few small parts, but otherwise this thing part is done

Hey all,
so here's how 1313 Boba Fett V1.0 came out for Otakon 2014. Still a lot of changes and add-ons to be done before AB 2015, but this con gave me a lot of insight on what needs changing (mainly how my collar armor is attached).

Yeah, I sadly didn't have time before the con to get the weathering where I wanted on either the flight suit or boot wrapping. I'm going to pick up a few MIG pigments and go to town on it.

Very nice job on your suit Phophjoph! I do love the look of the jetpack with the suit. I'm going to have to get one going.

I got a test pull of one of the Gaunts done tonight, and rigged it up real quick with the flamethower unit I've made. The nozzle is just a stock plumbing part, so I might end up machining a replacement as its a little small. Depending on how well the molds work, I may offer a small run of kits for other 1313 fetts and custom mando's. Though I don't know what I'd do about the perforated tube on the FT, as it's a real pain in the rump to machine.

Thanks Ken Chan! So bummed that this game got canceled. :c oh well
If you do plan on a run on the gauntlets you can defiantly count me in for a kit.

... is this "stock plumbing part" you talking of.
I read some said it comes from toys models, and some says it comes from hyrdo jet (cleaning drains) ... i'm looking for 3 heads like this to make a costumised rockets.

lol, naw, I machined that part myself. The plumbing part I used is the nozzle for the flame thrower. (But I may be ditching it anyway as I'm redoing most of the flamethrower unit)

Some more updates.
Gauntlets are coming along finally. Just about done with them. Gotta make some CC keypad's and then a little more weathering. Still working on the flame thrower units. I still want to get something like the block section on the ESB gaunt in there.

Also did some changes to the helmet. I removed the pinstripe tape and painted on some new pinstripes... only to beat the ever living hell out of them, as to match the rest of the beat up jango paint. Also added the first few of Boba's kill stripes to bring a little more character to the helmet. (Humbrol 82)
