New Hunter
Ok so for this year I am going to make a "Steampunkish" mando, have already started making the jetpack out of pvc pipes and elbows and such, untill i get a new part for the jigsaw thats on hold, I now need some help with the color scheme and remember a couple years back there was a website or program that you could play around with colors for certain armor pieces, anyone remember what/where that was? like a Flash player type builder...

very nice, yea about 20 minutes after the post I did find the one on these forums I used a couple years back but when I clicked the link I got the infamous 404.
Any way here is what I threw together today, more to be added but this is a base, I'm going to attach to an alice frame. 2010-08-05 16.56.31.jpg2010-08-05 16.46.45.jpg2010-08-05 16.46.39.jpg

Steampunk mando, with more pics incoming.

ok so I got the second rubys jango helmet in yesterday and did some dremmel work and what not, and learning from past work, got a few ideas to improve on the installation and comfort levels, one question however im looking for some way to throw on a seal around the bottom part of the helmet, sorta like the seals on the stormtrooper helmets, anyone have any suggestions as far as what i could use that is found at a local hardware or wal-mart?

perhaps i was a bit vague, but here is a picture i "borrowed" from some one on ebay to show what i mean. black trim.jpg
Does anyone have a CLUE as to what this actually is used for? went to a local hardware store and they havent got the slightest clue as to what it is, IF i could narrow that down perhaps then i could refine my local searches...
