Starting My Suit Tonight - Venom Mandalorian

Got sewing done for some things... But got waylaid.

This weekend I'm spending all Sat and Sun building my suit and helping a friend with his Halloween costume (Chain Devil).

Will post lots of pics when done! I should actually be WEARING it!

Just wondering, anyone here in the Vancouver, BC area...?

Awesome idea! Venom as a Mando... what could be a greater combo?

Just wondering how those spinnerets on the spider work out when you sit or bend? I'd almost think about maybe breaking the abdomen into sections so it could curve. Could even make them overlap like Samus's stomach is of her suit. Might be an idea for later down the road if you end up coming back to modify it.

My venom/Boba's Staff, with my buddy's brimstone guitar, and the helmet is hidden behind it.


Decided to forego codpiece/kidneyguard. Going with a white beltbuckle I've made, makes it easier to move in.

I'll take lots of pics of individual things once the armor is totally done.

Gonna finish it wednesday, will show you of course, I'm so proud and happy with how it turned out!

Replies: The spinnerets are fine, they're quite rigid and my gut has been going down since I've been trying the Mando Fitness Challenge and eating healthier.
