Starting my first Mando today

Ok guys i got what is hopefully the last container of spot puddy :lol: For youth we went to shopping to fill christmas shoe boxes and had a blast!! Me and a friend had a nerf sword fight in the middle of wally mart HAHA Good times!

Oh and one more thing i just have to share :lol: At walmart they have these little teddy bears that allow you to record your voice (an accident just waiting to happen haha) But anyways, me and my friend recorded things like "Go to Zellers for all your needs" and just pretty much advertised for Zellers in the middle of walmart HAHA at least i thought it was funny :D
 
well no pics, but i did put the final layer of spot puddy on.. and its about time :lol: Take sandpaper to it tomorrow

I want to thank Jayson again because he sent me resin earcaps for free. This is definatly gonna help me A LOT! thanks again bro

And im wondering if i should go out and buy primer or just go ahead and paint without it... wants your guys's opinion?
 
primer is a must, otherwise the color will just absorb into the bondo and putty, and the paint will not be smooth.

remember to wet sand the final layer of primer.
 
wet sand? i havnt heard that term before... man thats more money i have to spend :( dont have much to go around atm. Trying to save up to get a flightsuit

but then again my birthdays in about a month
 
its fine grain sand paper like 1000 grit, but you gotta sand while running H2O over it to make is smooth as glass.

Sorry for the late reply, AVG 9.0 FREE crashed my hard drive (totaled it I cant recover or even use it agian)

And now my laptop (Dell 1525) wont recognize my keyboard, so when I switched my hard drive to my dual boot, I cannot choose windows, so I'm running Ubuntu 9 right now which for some REALLY strange reason lets me use the keyboard, but I cannot get into the bios or choose which OS to load :wacko.

It works, but it's not windows.
 
ok :D well that sucks for you! hope you can get that working, Ive had so many computer problems lately its terrible! This Mac has WAY to much stuff on it... and most of it is my sketchs and reference pics :lol:

i might have asked this already but how much is primer? :lol: i like to know before i shop so i can manage the little money i have

Yeah Mac is better, I hav my macbook upstairs, I was gonna use empire efi to hackbook this dell, but I gotta get the keyboard working, maybe a loose connection (since I hit the darn thing really hard :lol:)

Gotta go to the store to get some soy sauce for the wifey to make the kids fried rice. BRB.
