Starting my first Mando today

If your picky about effect then get some rocks some Water, Some snow, some wood, and throw it all at your helmet, Constantly, untill there are severe signs of wear
 
Lev'ika, that second picture looks great! From what I can see, you totally nailed that earcap. (y)

Zuka, lay off mate. The kid's trying to do it well. These are props; we weather with masking fluid. If you build a lid that can take "real" punishment for damage, go for it and post pics!!! But let Levi do it the way he has found to work best for him (and in this case, for many other people ).

haha thanks guys, btw i have good news.. my dad found masking fluid for half the price at the university (he works there)

Im trying to figure out a custom keyslot pattern tho.. i wanna get that done today so i can also start the painting :D
 
he he lev'ika you're a riot as usual ner vod. Your bucket is looking better and better, I like the blaster too! lmao it turned out well. I agree with A'd'ika and Ad'ika, do a custom and make it your own. Do something local or familiar that you really like.

Don't think i don't know that your "blaster" is a Nerf Gun, The nerf Raider CS-35 too be precise, Looks like no serious Modifications to impede the performance of your gun have been taken, Give us a full photo of your blaster... And Adonian, My progress, will happen when i get money, my relatives have been relatively Cheap this christmas, I got a 20 FROM MY GRANDMOTHER, and i fail too know what my brothers aquired for me(i learn in june when they make an effort too see me) and I have yet too learn what my Aunt's Got me, because I didn't go too the brunch were my one aunt hosts it and my other aunt decided too bring th gift too the brunch, My decision too not go too the brunch was that I prefered Sleep

That's cool Zuk, I got's no money right now either, and this hobby takes lots of it :lol: anyway, I'm gonna take a break for a while, I need to pack the house and be out by the end of Feb. Gotta rent it out or lose it.
 
hey guys, not gettin much work done im afraid :lol: i do have a sketch coming up tho... i feel like i need to take a brake from sketching and working on my helmet for the next month (even though i havnt been sketching for a while :/) Midterms are coming up, aka one of the most stressful months of the year for me. I will sketch if i need something to relax me but no promises.

The sketch that im almost done with is not mandalorian sadly.. but probably one of the closest clones to, Captain Rex. It fairly large. Waist up on my new professional sketch book i got for christmas :D I hope to show it to you guys soon!!

I'm taking a break too, i need to up my grades too the 80s At least, I'll make a minor effort (all i need) So i can get a job

It was my first time doing anything from clone wars and my only reference was a terribbly disappointing Rex figure so ya haha
